Words from Reverend Styx |

I want to thank you for the work you did on Victoria's wand. She was so pleased when she got it this morning that she was in tears for more than an hour at work. All in all an excellent piece, which I've come to expect.
The Reverend chose an Adhara Wand for Victoria, cut from Birch Wood and Gold Leafed. |

I'm just at work right now, guess what's in my locker?
My Wand!!!!!
There was a knock at the door at 8:30 this morning (eek!) and the postman gave it to me.
I brought it in to show my friend Christine. It's lovely by the way : )
Thank you so much for including the cloth case for it, that was very nice of you (and it's a great colour).
I'm looking forward to using it this Samhain! We're doing a "heavy" ancestors ritual, not our usual fun and giggly stuff. I think I'll ask to help cast the circle so I can use it. Some way I'll work it in...; )
Adrienne picked out a Myrrdin Wand, cut from dark Walnut wood. She chose to leave the wood unadorned with any leaf at all. |

Hi,
I just wanted you to know that the wand that I purchased from you is wonderful! My dad made me a mount for it and it is on my wall next to my bed. He even dyed it red so it would match the color of my wand. Dad also carved a "Z" on the top of the mount that looks just like the one you put in gold on the bottom of the handle of my wand.
At my school, I'm in 4th grade, I decided to show my class my wand. They liked it very much and thought it was cool. They asked where I got it. I told them I got it at dragonmother.com.
(Zachary chose a celestine wand in Fir, and I stained it red for him. I carved a "z" into the butt, as well) |

Dear Shawn,
The athame arrived in today's mail. That was fast! It is just as I imagined it and I LOVE IT! The sheath is also beautiful (lined no less!) and I noticed that it was tied in the traditional Gardnerian way... (Lispeth picked a traditional Copper-blade Athame, in a "Marco Polo" handle. I made a sheath for it, out of black deerhide.) |

Words from Jane |
 |
Oh Oh Oh - I think it is THE most beautiful wand I have ever held! It
feels so good. It is so beautiful. And the Box, and the blue lining. Thank you so much! Jane requested a crystal wand in the Chandra shape. As this was the first one I had ever made like that, and the first time I tried to make a presentation box for a wand- AND because I was moving house during that time, her wand took an incredible four months to get to her! When I apologised for the horrible wait, she said; "I would think that people who want wands also want heart. One can feel your
heart and know that you care." Thank you, Jane. |

Words from Ty |

My name is Ty I met you at the pantheacon and I got a magnificent wand from you. The wand was the one that has a bloodstone at the base, and was from an oak in massachusets I believe was struck by lightning. I wanted to thank you once again for this. (Ty took home a one-of-a-kind wand. It was, indeed, cut from Lightning-Struck Red Oak) |

Words from Tess and J.J. |

...My son decided he'd like to go To Barnes & Noble and wait all night to get our copy of the Half-Blood prince. So, I told him we would go. He got into his robe, hat, and specially-made wand (thank you again, Dragonmom!!) and headed out. JJ was really funny- he noticed that many of the wizards at the adventure had wands... but noone seemed to have a *real* wand. He sniffed kind of snotty and said 'You wouldn't see me carrying a plastic FAKE WOOD wand'. it was really funny the way he said it! My little wand snob. :)
Of course, I have a darling little baby that I was able to dress as baby-Potter.
Baby Riley loves her brother JJ's Adhara wand, painted in prism colors. |

I haven't even put it down since it arrived! It's everything I could ever have hoped for and the energy I get just from holding it has almost made me cry, I'm so ecstatic! It has such an incredible and complementary presence! It's absolutely beautiful and could not suit me more! Thank you so much!!!
Magically Yours,
Jacqueline
PS- You were completely right, the copper is a wonderful echo to the Malachite! Oh, and, amazingly, the color matches the candles in my room perfectly! : ) Jacqui chose a D'Orsay wand in Purpleheart, and she asked for eleven rings on the handle. We discussed several ways to use the three metals to best effect, since they look a little garish against the vivid color of the wood. |

Words from Vonda, Sammi, and Cooike |
 |
Our wands came today. Sammi was so happy! And thrilled with Cooike's wand, too. I can't believe you went through all that trouble for his wand. They are both beautiful! Works of art!
I hate to complain about mine, but it has the wrong metal leaf. I had asked for copper, which I believe would be so beautiful with the cocbolo rosewood. Instead I have gold. I really am disappointed. What can we do? The wood and rose quartz are beautiful; I just wish I had copper instead of gold. Sammi recieved this polychromed Dream Journey wand. Vonda chose a Rosewood Adhara; Cooike's was a little Maple wand with a silly handle, befitting a budgeriar!
As for my mixup with Vonda's Rosewood wand, of course I asked her to return it; when I returned it to her, she had this to say;
My wand came today. I love it! Thank you so much! I really love the copper with the cocbolo, and the verdigris is perfect! Thank you! |

Dear Dragon Mom -
Wanted to let you know that I absolutely love my custom-made wand. The rosewood is beautiful, as is the crystal at the tip!! The shape of the wand is perfect and the gold rings give it a look of ancient power. It is much lighter than I expected, which makes it wonderfully easy to work with. It's just perfect, and I love the fact that I "designed" it myself.
Thank you so much for all your hard work and attention to detail.
Blessings,
katie
Katie chose the Adhara shape, in Rosewood, She picked an antique Swarovski crystal tip, which sits atop the taper like a soap bubble.
23 carat gold leaf, and a tiny Aventurine bead in the dimple of the handle embellish this wand. |

I received the wand today and it is amazing! It is every bit as beautiful as the picture! As soon as I unwrapped the wand and picked it up it had real nice energy! I did a dedication ceremony and it now sits in my Sacred Room with my other Egyptian Implements! Egyptian and Native American are my main Healing Modalities, connect very strongly with these when Channeling and in Meditation! Shall be an amazing Healing Implement addition! Thanks Much for the Gifting of this amazing Power Wand! ( Atasha chose this Egyptian crystal Rod, goldleafed and polychromed in imitation of Turqoise, Carnelian, and Lapis (As the ancient Egyptians themselves often did) |

Words from John C. |

The magnificent wand arrived yesterday afternoon, and it is truly a dream fulfilled! You have done such beautiful work with it, and it is obvious not only from the way it looks but also the way it "feels" how much authentic care you have put into it, as well as skilled craftsmanship.
In looking at the original order date in your message, I smiled to myself -- and I hope YOU will, too, rather than feel any more embarrassment which is totally unnecessary: it has been almost nine months since my original order -- and our dialogue began a bit before that. So... this wand has had its own "gestation period" of coming into being... almost like a baby :-)! I tend to believe that things -- especially important things -- happen in their own good time; I believe this wand is an example of that.
John's wand took some time for me to create! He chose purpleheart for the body. As well as the Amythest resevoir and tip, we set twelve semi-precious stone beads into the taper, in three groups of four. They are; Hematite, Moonstone, Aventurine, and Rose Quartz. |

Dragonmom you are AMAZING!!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Joseph loves his wand and it is just what he imagined it would be like!!! The most beautiful work of ART he has ever laid his hands on! Thanks so much for your wonderful talent and putting that great big SMILE on his wizard face!!
Gratefully yours,
Wendy
Joseph picked oak and gold leaf for his Adhara crystal tipped wand. I took advantage of the open grain of this wood, and rubbed in blue "Spell residue" to antique it and add mystery. |

I just wanted to tell you how much I love the wands you made, and my daughter was thrilled with hers. They're beautiful and unique, and we treasure them.
Thanks so much, and bright blessings,
Patricia
Patricia ordered one Myrrdin wand, with my "Morning Glory" coloring. I made two, and offered her her choice- she decided to take both of them! |

The wand is so beautiful! Thank you so much for offering me the chance to own this lovely instrument! I especially loved the natural burl in the pommel of the wand, it's so much like a wooden geode. Not only did it arrive just in time to be dedicated on the summer solstice, but I also believe this to be a heritage piece, along with Victoria's wand. We will definitely be passing these down to future generations of pagans.
The Reverend chose, once again, an Adhara shape. This wand was 19 inches long, and I made it from Red Eucalyptus. The wood is from a branch, and the bark was incorporated into the turning. |
