I have a very small supply of willow wood, pruned from a stand of native California Black willow. Due to the irregular nature of these rather slender branches, I find that most of the wands I can produce are no more than twelve inches long. But this fine and most magical wood makes exquisite bijoux tools nevertheless!
This Willow Magic wand is cut in the Adhara shape, and leafed with Sterling Silver, the Ball Kell being leafed a Moony Copper.
The reservoir stone is a naturally rounded Obsidian "Apache's Tear" pebble, and the tip is a spectacular Aquamarine Beryl formation. This stone is remarkably "gemmy"; Clear, and sparkling with the ethereal water-blue of a true AquaMarine, this special stone is the reason for this wand's price- and the wand is, I think completely worthy of it.
